Carrier Design
The carrier consists of a top section that rotates a worm gear attached to a collet to provide rotation motion. The bottom section has a motor attached to a worm gear that is attached to a follower which provides the translational motion along a leadscrew.
Interchangeable Collets
The collet is the section that clamps to the concentric tubes. The design can accomedate collets of many different sizes allowing for different sized cannula to be used.
